Archiving Policy

The Journal of Islamic Youth is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content.

1. Digital Archiving

  • The journal utilizes LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and/or CLOCKSS archiving systems to preserve and distribute content among participating libraries.

  • This ensures that the published content remains accessible even in the event the journal is no longer published.

2. Institutional Repository

  • Authors are permitted to deposit the pre-print, post-print, and publisher’s version (PDF) of their articles in institutional or subject repositories.

  • This policy supports the free exchange of knowledge in line with the Open Access Policy.

3. National Library & Indexing Services

  • All published articles are deposited in national libraries or digital repositories as required by Indonesian regulations and international best practices.

  • The journal also cooperates with indexing services to ensure the visibility and retrievability of published articles.

4. Self-Archiving Policy

  • Authors may archive their work on personal websites, institutional websites, or other platforms, provided that proper citation of the original publication in the Journal of Islamic Youth is included.

5. Preservation of Access

  • In case the journal ceases publication, access to all previously published articles will remain available through the journal’s archive and third-party repositories.
